러브컨템포러리아트는 2018년 경주에서 시작되어 2020 년 서울의 예술의 중심지인 북촌으로 확장 이전하여 현재는 경주, 서울 두 도시에서 공간을 운영하고 있습니다. 특히 가회동의 가옥을 현대식으로 개조하여 만든 2층짜리 공간에서 작가의 세계관을 극대화하는 감각적인 전시 기획과 취향을 주도하는 작가 발굴로 주목받으며 트렌드를 견인하는 갤러리 입니다.
갤러리의 하위브랜드로서 젊은 작가 레이블을 런칭하는 등 동시대적 감각으로 기존의 미술시장의 관례를 벗어나 시기적절한 마케팅을 펼치고 새로운 미술시장의 활로를 개척하며, 다수의 국내/외국의 작가들과 체계적으로 소속 작가 시스템을 구축해오고 있습니다. 예술가의 시각언어를 함께 탐구하며 지속적인 활동으로 작가의 창작 환경을 돕고 해외 미술과의 적극적인 연계로 미술의 기능을 확장함으로서 미술계의 신선한 흐름을 만들어 나가고자 합니다.
LUV Contemporary Art started in the historic city of Gyeongju in 2018 and has since expanded to Bukchon, the art hub of Seoul in 2020. The gallery, set in a beautiful second story traditional house in Gahoe-dong which has been modernized, is leading the trend by holding sophisticated exhibitions that fully expresses the artist’s world and by actively discovering new talents.
The gallery is known for its contemporary sense that does not conform to conventions, and timely marketing skills. It has launched a sub-brand of young artists group and is building a system that systematically manages artists from home and abroad.
